Case Study: Active Ride Shop

As part of my role at Active, I focused mainly on influencer marketing using the GRIN CRM. Active, as a brand, had an issue attracting and converting teens and young adults on social media and email. Using the power of influencer marketing, we were able to achieve increases in brand recognition, conversions, profile visits, and website visits.

Problem:

Active Ride Shop had been viewed as a brand that catered to older, less youthful audiences. The majority of the brand’s customers were 35-45-year-old men, and the brand wanted to expand into the teenager and young adult market.

Goal:

  • Increase conversions on the Active website in the teens and young adult category (10-25 years old)

  • Increase follower count on the Active Instagram with the majority of new followers being in the teens and young adults category

  • Create a traction framework to increase visibility and conversion on a specific clothing item on demand

Results:

  • Increased conversions on the Active website among 10-25-year-olds by 5% in a 2 month period

  • Increased the follower count on Active’s Instagram pages, 60% of new followers were in the 16-25 age range

  • Created and executed an influencer marketing pipeline to highlight product-specific campaigns, such as sock or skateboard deck sales
